Alexey Kachalov was born in 1971, He studied art under V.K.Petrov Kirillov.
In 1986 - 1998 he entered and finished the Russian Academy of the Arts.
From 1992 he has been an esteemed member of Moscow’s Union of artists (MOSH)
In 1997 Alexey Kachalov he won the President's Award.
From 1998 à he worked in the "Iosifo àVolotskiy" Monastery - where he made an entire cycle of picturesque works.
From 2002 à study in post àgraduate course in the Russian Academy of the Arts.
